Why is it that I have spent the majority of my life comfortably sleeping all alone and now, after a two and a half month period, I cannot sleep AT ALL if my husband is not here. I'd think it was cute, except for the fact that right now it is 1:30 in the morning (EXTREMELY LATE married-standard-time) and I am EXHAUSTED, yet I am incapable of sleeping so, as a result, I am blogging.
Dear Blogger,
you are fun. But I love sleep much more than you. Sorry, the truth can hurt.
Jordan has to strike the schools set tonight for his job and probably won't be home for another few hours. :(
To that, I say:
Dear Theatre Department,
Please return my husband. I can't sleep.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
The wife.

Ode to the Farmer's Market
Dear Farmer's Market,
I am convinced that you were the reason that the sun came out on Fridays, but now that you are gone for the season, the sun is much less prone to show up. I wish you would return once again into my life. How will I
ever SURVIVE a whole winter without my Chocolate Covered Almonds?? We tried to store enough in the cupboard to last for the chilly season, but alas, their delicious-ness could only stand a two-week period here. Even with true self-controlled rationing!!!
In our last attempt to enjoy your happiness, Chelsea, Jordan, and I visited your last evening open. It was magical, as it always is.
Please come back again soon. Life isn't the same without you.

Dear Trick-or-Treaters,
I'm sorry that I ate pretty much all of the candy that we bought for you before Halloween day even came around.
Perhaps, if you want candy next year, you should come by a few days earlier.
With love,
H

Birthday LOVE!!!
I know it is nearing the end of the month, but I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who made my birthday happy this year. :) I am so grateful for all of the thoughtful packages, letters, songs, treats, and messages from friends and family. <3 <3 My mom had sent boxes of cake mix, but when it came to the day I was baking birthday cake, I didn't have oil, so I ended up making cupcakes from scratch.
I didn't take too many pictures of that day, but thought I would post the ones that I had taken -- the making of baking my delicious cupcakes for the celebration!! :)
Yay for birthdays! <3

Happy Fall!!
It was a delightful 37 degrees this morning. =/
...Anyone who knows my love of California knows how much I dislike the cold, however, I am trying to find things (aside from my fingers breaking off from frostbite) that I enjoy about living in the coldest part of the United States. :)
I have recently taken up running again and, often, run around a park that is fairly close to our apartment. Lately, it has been shedding it's summer leaves and reminding me, at least of one reason, why change in temperature is a blessing.
I took pictures the other day on a walk, enjoy!
and this last picture is awesome because if you turn it upside down, it looks right side up!! :D
Happy Autumn :)

Life is so great.
I thought for my very first blog posting I would just make note of a few very awesome things about my life.
My Jordan and I have been married for 55 days today =D
I am listening to Christmas music today, despite the fact that it's mid-October
Our "office" in our house (in which I am currently sitting) is heated to a beautiful 80 degrees
I just ate an onion bagel, which is my FAVORITE (...aside from my husband. ...and family. :) )
annnd (with 100% of my sister's help) I finally have figured out how to post a blog!! =D
Happy Thankful Thursday!!
